Physics is a fascinating subject. Every day we hear about scientists and engineers exploring the universe with telescopes, landing rovers on the Moon or Mars, or probing the very nature of existence itself with giant particle accelerators. Sometimes physics seems like magic, only real.
And more and more students are finding that they need to master physics to achieve their career goals. Fortunately for them, we have learned a lot over the last few decades about how to teach physics effectively. Unfortunately, for some students, classroom instruction alone may not be sufficient. Teachers have too many students to give each student the individual attention that the teachers would like to provide. Students also have busy schedules and may not be able to come to tutorial opportunities.
That's where I come in! I work with students and parents to find a time and place for physics tutoring that fits your schedule. Whether you are looking for the occasional review before a test, homework help, or catching up on missed instruction, I can help. I am also available via Zoom call for students who are outside the local area or who prefer online tutoring.
RATES AND PAYMENTS
The standard rate for in-person tutoring is $75/hour. For online tutoring it is $70/hour. Discounts on in-person tutoring are available for veterans, first responders, teachers and their families.
